The Tokyo Marui Kalashnikov AKM GBB faithfully recreates one of the most iconic and widely produced rifles in history, delivering an authentic gas blowback experience with Tokyo Marui’s renowned engineering and attention to detail.
Constructed from a combination of high-quality steel, zinc alloy, and durable synthetic materials, this airsoft replica closely mirrors the appearance of the original AKM. Every detail has been carefully reproduced, including authentic-style Soviet-era markings, serial numbers, and imitation production stamps on the receiver. Even the adjustable rear sight features realistic markings, enhancing both the rifle’s functionality and authenticity.
The fixed stock and handguard are manufactured from lightweight yet durable resin with a convincing faux wood finish, offering the classic appearance of traditional wooden furniture while improving durability. The pistol grip is made from high-strength polymer and finished in a distinctive bakelite-style texture, completing the rifle’s vintage military aesthetic.
Internally, the AKM is powered by Tokyo Marui’s acclaimed ZET gas blowback system, engineered to deliver strong, realistic recoil while significantly reducing mechanical wear. The bolt assembly incorporates precision bearings that minimize friction during cycling, allowing for smoother operation and improved longevity. Integrated shock absorbers further reduce impact stress by cushioning the bolt during each firing cycle, helping extend the rifle’s service life.
The rifle features an adjustable hop-up system, conveniently accessed through the magazine well using an adjustment wheel, making it easy to fine-tune BB trajectory for improved range and accuracy. At the muzzle, a standard flash hider conceals a 14mm CCW threaded barrel, allowing users to install compatible suppressors, tracer units, or other muzzle accessories.
The Tokyo Marui Kalashnikov AKM GBB comes complete with a 35-round gas magazine and an instruction manual, all presented in premium retail packaging, making it an excellent choice for collectors, enthusiasts, and players seeking an authentic AK platform.
